Real Madrid and RB Leipzig have reportedly agreed on the transfer of midfielder Xavi Simons.
According to reports, the German club has reached an agreement with the Spanish club for the transfer of the 25-year-old midfielder. The deal is worth around €10 million, with the player's contract at the Bernabeu set to expire in June 2024.
Simons has been a regular starter for the La Liga giants since joining from Lazio in 2019. He made over 70 appearances for Real Madrid and contributed to their success in several major competitions.
The move to RB Leipzig will be a significant opportunity for Simons, who has expressed his desire to play in the Bundesliga. The German club is known for its attacking style of football and has recently signed highly-rated players like Timo Werner and Dayot Upamecano.
